Спортивные "Баталии"
Впервые на усинском ринге столкнулись более 100 универсальных бойцов. Схватки проходили в КСК "НЕфтяник" с 6 по 8 мая. Открытый городской чемпионат по универсальному бою имени героя Советского Союза, генерала арми Василия Маргелова среди юношей и мужчин прошел на Высоком уровне. В течении нескольких дней спортсмены из Усинска, Сосногорска, Великого Устюга, Воркуты и Котлоса доказывали в поединках свое превосходство.
Чемпионат проходил по двум видам: "лайт" (схватки на ринге), и "классика" (рукопашный бой после полосы препятствий)в каждом из которых соревновались порядка 60 человек.
С приветственным словом к спортсменам обратились руководитель администрации МО ГО «Усинск» Станислав Хахалкии, заместитель председателя Союза десантников Усинска Александр Алейченко, член Усинского правления Союза десантников Виктор Машнин и начальник усинского ДОСААФ России Пётр Стрелецкий.
— В целом чемпионат прошёл хорошо, —прокоммонтировал тренер секции но рукопашному бою в Усинске Сергей Рыбалко. — Преодоление препятствий и бой — все выглядело зрелищно и эмоционально. Отдельное спасибо спортсменам за достойное представление силового спортивного двоеборья.
